Samaria

The 'Faraggas' as we call the Samaria Gorge is the biggest, most impressive and most beautiful gorge in Europe, which since 1962 has been designated a national park since 2001 and is part of the European network Natura 2000. The length reaches 15 km., Width starts at 3.5 and reaches 150m. While the height reaches 500 meters. Striking feature of the gorge are the folds that form rocks. Borer

Iligas or Kavis

Lush, beautiful and easy. From Anopoli starts walking 2 hours to the Byzantine church of the Holy Cross (this piece can be performed with either a rural or jeep). From here begins the descent, lasting about three hours, ending on the beautiful beach of vertigo, 2 km west of Sfakia.

Manika or Skalotiano

Papa Lagos

Katre Lagos

The gorge is located at the northern entrance of Sfakia in Askyfou. Lagos means gorge and thus Gorge Katri. Kapnis
